Federico Delbonis, Soonwoo Kwon, Ricardas Berankis and Norbert Gombos are the players who have won their matches this Monday in the AnyTech365 Andalucía Open. They are in the second round together with Pablo Carreño Busta, Fabio Fognini, Casper Ruud and Alberto Ramos. The Argentine Federico Delbonis (8) won the last match of the day against the Spanish Roberto Carballés Baena by 7-5 and 6-1.
His rival in the second round will be the Slovak Norbert Gombos. He defeated the Argentine Juan Ignacio Londero in three sets. The final score was 6-7 (3); 6-1 and 6-3.
Tennis started in the Manolo Santana court with a marathon; more than two hours and forty minutes to know the name of the winner. The victory was finally for the Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis over the French Lucas Pouille by 6-4; 6-7 (5); 7-5. The first clay match of the season for both tennis players. The second turn was again an epic match. The 23-year-old Korean Soonwoo Kwon beat the 17-year-old Danish Holger Rune.
The main draw of the AnyTech365 Andalucía Open has been completed. Bernabé Zapata Miralles, Mario Vilella Martínez, Henri Laaksonen and Nikola Milojevic are qualified.
Bernabé Zapata Miralles was the first to achieve his pass to the main draw. He won his match against the Russian Evgeny Donskoy: 6-1; 6-4. Henri Laaksonen needed more than two hours and twenty minutes to defeat the Italian Lorenzo Giustino 7-5; 3-6; 6-1.
In the Spanish duel of the day, the victory was for Mario Vilella Martínez by 6-3; 3-6; 6-3 versus Carlos Gómez-Herrera. Vilella confirms the confident in his tennis here in Marbella; he reached semifinal last week in the Challenger 80.
The last pass to the main draw was for the Serbian Nikola Milojevic. He defeated 7-5 and 6-3 to Steven Diez.
Two Top Seeds will debut on Tuesday in the AnyTech365 Andalucía Open. Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina (5) and Feliciano López (6) will play against the Bosnian Damir Dzumhur and the Japanese Taro Daniel.
Other outstanding matches will be Carlos Alcaraz-Nikola Milojevic; Pedro Martínez-Ilya Ivashka and Jaume Munar-Henri Laaksonen.
